Dennis Fater
Dennis has been a certified NRA Rifle and Pistol instructor since 1988 and certified as a NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO). His organization, Professor Gun Firearms Instruction, LLC, is certified to teach Minnesota concealed carry classes.
He has been active over the years in competitions including High Power Rifle, IDPA, USPSA, and Three Gun disciplines. Dennis achieved the rank of Rifleman (Expert) with rifle in the Appleseed Program. Since passage of the Wisconsin Concealed Carry law, Dennis has been conducting classes that fulfill the training requirements for concealed carry in four states. He obtained his first permit for concealed carry in 2004 and is experienced in techniques and issues of concealing a handgun on ones person. Dennis also holds a third degree black belt in karate in addition to time spent studying kenpo and hapkido; he has taught empty hand self defense courses for women since 2007 that also include defensive use of pepper spray and knives. Dennis is also lead instructor for a group of Wisconsin Hunter Safety Education volunteers and has served in that role since 1989.
Dennis is a tenured professor in the Physical Therapy Program of University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and has taught at a variety of universities since 1976. He is a licensed physical therapist in private practice in the La Crosse area and serves as a consultant/expert witness for criminal defense attorneys in cases involving alcohol and other pharmaceutical agents.

Nathan Fater
Nathan has been shooting since he was 5 years of age and is a certified NRA Pistol and Rifle Instructor. He obtained his first permit for concealed carry in 2013. He has competed in IDPA, USPSA, and Three Gun since he was 12 years of age and achieved the ranking of Rifleman (Expert) in rifle marksmanship in the Appleseed Program.
He was a Wisconsin Hunter Education Instructor, beginning as a junior instructor at age 12 and becoming a full instructor at age 18. Since about age 15 Nathan has assisted with a variety of NRA Pistol courses and women's self defense courses.
